Lewis Mills Library Media Center has many things to offer!

The goal of the Library Media Center at  Lewis S. Mills is to offer a flexible and respectful learning environment in which students and staff can engage in independent and collaborative inquiry and personal productivity through unlimited access to curriculum-based resources that are diverse in format, perspective and rigor.
We accomplish this by:
  • supporting and enhancing educational goals as outlined in the school’s mission and curriculum;
  • providing intellectual access, through physical and virtual means, to materials in a variety of forms, formats and media;
  • collaborating with classroom teachers to design resource-based, integrated and differentiated learning activities;
  • providing instruction of information and technology literacies; and
  • developing and sustaining the habit and enjoyment of reading and learning for educational, informational, vocational and recreational purposes.
